Wreckers Radio is run by a small collective based in Launceston in the Borderlands between Devon and Cornwall. All the costs of running the station are covered from our own time and pockets - which does rather limit our ability to add the features and programmes that we would love to see on the station, and to spread the word that music lives West-the-Exe.
The immedaite call to action is to buy us a coffee (although some of us prefer cider - Roger makes damn fine cider from his own apples) to help keep things going.

From time to time we may run fundraising campaigns for a specific objective - for now your donations can go into one of three pots:
- General running costs. We do pay our PRS and PPL licence fees, as well as having to rent a server and register various domain names and software packages. Which all adds up to more than £1000 a year. The PRS/PPL take about half of that currently, so if you want to make a bigger donation for something specifc you could help pay for those. Or simply a fiver towards running costs.
- Paying Local Artists. We are keenly aware that virtually none of the PRS/PPL fees will find their way into the pockets of struggling local artists. We even ask artists to provide their recordings for free when we can't afford to buy them. We would love to be able to use your donation to buy a track or album by a local artist so that the money goew direct to them - you can even suggest one in the comment box on PayPal; although we can't promise that we will get that particular piece. But we will try.
- Producing Live Broadcasts and Recordings. Every August Bank Holiday we broadcast live the acts on the Folk, Acoustic, & Roots (FAR) stage at the Cornwall Folk Festival. We would love to do more of this from other local West-th-Exe venues and festivals - but as always its a question of time and money. Why not chip in towards the costs - even finding somewhere for Emma to park her campervan takes money!
