Wreckers.Radio Live on new site

Finally, after many ups and downs this website is now hosted on the same server as the Radio station. This greatly streamlines and makes easier many admin tasks, and will, in due course make various new facilities available to visitors and supporters.

We have also launched a new Sunday early evening (6pm) programme listing various gigs around Cornwall  and Devon in the next 4 weeks. This is repeated on Monday and Tuesdays at 10:30am and 6:30pm and is also availale to listen to as a podcast - see the Whats On page.

Every week Emma will be giving a short 10minute roundup of gigs and on Sunday we'll follow it with half an hour of music by artists you can see live around our area. Shortly there will be a calendar available here and on our social media. We will be very much focusing on local musicians and smaller independent venues.

If you are a musician or group or an independent venue West of the Exe then be sure to let us know if you have local gigs in the next 3 or 4 weeks - use the contact page or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

...and some New Music

New in the rotation this week:

  • Steve Wigley - Now based in Bideford down from the Black Country, this is his new solo 5 track EP. Watch out for him playing locally soon
  • Christine Collister - One of the Queens of Folk who form Daphne's Flight we have her solo album Childrfen of the Sea in the general playlist now
  • All For Jolly - originally from Penzance, now scattered across Cornwall, a brilliant high energy folk band. Fantastic live - but you'll be lucky to catch them as they are winding down. Buy their albums and give them a boost.

Tracks from these are also in the featured list which plays one track every 6 songs so they are not just lost in the genral random mix.
