The trouble with contact forms on websites is that they attract a heck of a lot of junk. The stuff with unlikely email addresses simply never gets delivered, the stuff with subject lines about AI or Meta or Account Suspended etc also never get read. Likewise enquires about prices (hint, we don't sell anything), or offers to imporve our search ranking, or similar internet based stuff - we don't care and life is too short. Go plant some vegetables..
Most of this is proably posted by automated systems which seems particularly pointless as they are easy to detect and block, but some rubbish does get through so please bear in mind the following before you email.
- Use a genuine from email address that matches the name and routing info (if you are real it will)
- Make the subject specifc and relevant to what we do
- Give your full real name and your apporximate location at the top of the message
- If you are not in Devon or Cornwall, or not visiting Devon or Cornwall soon, or don't obviously listen to the radio station then we probably wont reply. It is ok of you are in, for example, Lima and listen to the station and have an enquiry or suggestion about the music. But if you are selling something and are not local then we ain't interested.
- It often takes us a week or more to respond to emails, so be patient.
Ok, so if you want to contact us then send an email from your own genuine address to
hello at wreckers dot radio
and do bear in mind the points above. We love getting genuine letters from real listeners or musicians.
