New music on the station this week includes albums from three Cornish Bands not heard here before:
- 3 Daft Monkeys – Punky Folk from the Scilly Isles
- Wurlitza – quirky original music and covers from St.Germans
- The Countrymen – Cornish Folk Rock Harmony from North Cornwall
A selection from these five albums (Dance The Night Away -Wurlitza, Trees on the Hill and The River Rolls On – The Countrymen, Hubbadillia and The Antiquated & the Arcane by 3 Daft Monkeys will be featured between 6 and 8pm on Sunday 5th, and then a shorter 1 hour selection on Monday to Saturday starting at 01:00 on Monday and moving forwards 3 hours each day.
The schedule is starting to evolve – Cornish Cream featuring only Cornish acts plays for an hour at 9am or 6pm on alternate days except Sunday. The Sunday 7pm slot will feature music new to the station each week and rotating through the days as above. Watch for news of new theed shows over the coming weeks.
